For multi-track recording and playback, we highly recommend using one of the adapters above, even if the computer has a local ethernet port.
This is to ensure optimal prioritization of SoundGrid audio packets. Generally, on-board LAN ports and unapproved USB-C to Ethernet adapters may work well when recording/playing back low channel counts (below 32), or, when the computer is used as a SoundGrid application host only.
