How to Find Your Plugins in Acid Pro 7.0

May 23, 2019

Important Note:

Waves plugins v9.6 is the last version supported in Acid Pro. If you've installed using the Online method in Waves Central after March 29, 2017, you must Roll Back to Waves v9.6.

Please Note: Products released after March 29, 2017 will not be added to v9.6. Check our Release Notes for specific information

If you are trying to load your Waves plugins in Acid Pro 7.0 but cannot find them, follow these instructions in order to make the plugins available.

First, check whether the relevant plugin file/s are correctly installed on your computer:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V9.

The relevant plugin file will be named after the plugin, in this format: [PluginName].bundle. For example, the plugin file for Reel ADT will be named ReelAdt.bundle.

If the plugins you are looking for are not in the above folder, install the plugins by following the instructions in this link.

If the relevant plugin files are in the above folder, perform a rescan:

  1. Go to Acid Pro’s Plugin Manager. If it is not visible, click on View > Plugin Manager.
  2. Click on Configure VST.
  3. Make sure that C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins is listed (if not, add it).
  4. Check-mark Force Rebuild
  5. Click Scan. Once done, click OK
  6. Create a new session with a supported sample rate, add a track and load your Waves plugins.
