How to Install and Activate Waves V10

Learn how to install and activate Waves V10 plugins.
Important Notes:
- V10 plugins can be activated by perpetual (non-subscription) V15-V10 licenses as well as Waves Creative Access subscription licenses.
- Products released after October 27, 2019 are not included in the V10 offline installer.
- To see a list of the plugins available in the V10 installer, visit this page.
- When installing offline, Sample libraries for Waves instruments must be installed manually.
This article covers situations such as:
- You have newer licenses, but need to install V10 software due to system requirements
- You have V10 licenses and wish to install V10.
Step #1 Activate your Licenses:
- Download and install Waves Central for Mac | Windows
If you already have Waves Central installed, skip to step 2. - Launch the Waves Central application on the computer where your licenses are activated.
Windows: via the desktop shortcut or Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central.
Mac: Applications > Waves Central. - Log into Waves Central.
- Select the Licenses page on the left bar.
- Select Not Activated at the top of the page.
- Choose the license/s you wish to activate. Selected licenses will appear in the list on the right.
- Choose the target device for the activated license/s.
- Click the Activate button.
Step #2 – Install V10 software
Use the dedicated V10 Offline Installer
- Quit any host application.
- Download the V10 Offline Installation folder for Mac | Windows.
- Unzip the folder to your desktop.
- Navigate to the Waves – 27.10.19 folder which you just extracted and launch the file named “install.cen”.
- Waves Central will open on the Offline Installer page.
- Use the search bar to search and select the products you wish to install.
- Click Install.
Your products are now ready to use.
- Quit any host application.
- Download the V10 Waves Creative Access Offline Installation folder for Mac | Windows.
- Unzip the folder to your desktop.
- Navigate to the Central_Offline_v10plugins folder which you just extracted and launch the file named “install.cen”.
- Waves Central will open on the Offline Installer page.
- Select All Waves Plugins.
- Click Install.
Your products are now ready to use.
