Immersive In-Ear Mixing

Bring clarity, openness, and comfort to in-ear monitors in live shows. Designed for the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixer, eMo IEM software offers immersive 360-degree panning for in-ear mixing.
No external hardware is needed: eMo IEM is a simple software upgrade to the eMotion LV1 mixer. Simply set the LV1’s monitors output to immersive, and your performers will receive immersive monitor sound in their in-ears.
eMo IEM enables 360 panning of all mix elements, allowing both live sound engineers and performers to control the exact location of each instrument in the immersive mix. Panning is easily controlled from eMotion LV1’s mobile/tablet remote control apps, MyMon and MyFOH, as well as from the LV1 mixer itself.
eMo IEM is powered by Waves’ proven Nx binaural technology, which recreates an immersive acoustic environment over headphones and in-ears. eMo IEM replicates the natural auditory experience of a real-world 3D environment, offering live performers a more comfortable in-ear sound with more realistic detail than traditional stereo monitoring.

Traditional stereo in-ear monitors can feel constrained and unrealistic, often causing performers frustration and discomfort. Their limited spatial representation isn’t true to our natural hearing experience, impacting performance. eMo IEM improves the in-ear experience by providing an immersive, three-dimensional listening environment in in-ear monitors.

With eMo IEM, expensive external devices and complex routing are a thing of the past. eMo IEM is a simple software upgrade within the eMotion lV1 mixer. Deliver immersive in-ear mixing and monitoring, simply by toggling the LV1 mixer’s monitor output to immersive—and voila, your performers are now experiencing immersive 3D in-ear sound.

Fine-tune your immersive mix with the Waves MyMon and MyFOH apps, from the stage or from anywhere in the venue. Performers as well as live sound engineers can control the exact panning of each vocal or instrumental element in the immersive mix.

Support
eMo IEM runs on Waves eMotion LV1 mixer software v15 or higher. eMo IEM is purchased separately from eMotion LV1, and must be installed and activated on eMotion LV1 in order to run.
Mobile/Tablet Control
eMo IEM is controlled remotely via the Waves MyMon and MyFOH iOS/Android apps, v15 or higher.
Please note: MyFOH, mRecall, MyMon, MixTwin are currently not supported with LV1 V15 on macOS systems. We are working to release an update as soon as possible.
